Seven Magic Mountains, is an art exhibit located 10 miles south of Las Vegas in between Sloan and Jean. ⠀
⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀
It consists of 7 individual “mountains” or huge boulders stacked 30 - 35 feet high painted in colors so vibrant that they can be seen when driving along interstate 15.⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀
Since it’s first opening on May 11th of 2016, it has attracted many tourists and Nevada Natives who have come from all over just to marvel at its beauty! ⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀
When asked about the story behind this exhibit, Rondinone stated that it serves as a “creative expression of human presence in the desert.” ⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀
“Seven Magic Mountains elicits continuities and solidarities between human nature, artificial and natural, then and now.” States Rondinone.

Due to the popularity of the exhibit, it has been extended and will remain on display till the end of 2018. ⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀
Rondinone is also in talks to have the exhibit remain on display for many years to come.
